Human Features
Hey guys, I just wanted to start off by saying this picture was very VERY hard for me to accomplish. I also would like to state that this picture wasn't drawn to be me or even look like me. This picture was drawn to practice a different type of drawing. In the drawing world there are so many things you can learn and do to make your picture look like the "pro's". Drawing for me used to be really hard, but as we keep progressing in this project I'm finding it easier to know how I want something to look. Rather than using someone else's ideas on what to draw. This picture was 100% made by me. From her messy hair to her weird looking arms.  Although drawing is still challenging for me, I'm really starting to find myself enjoy it.  (Don't be scared to comment and critique me, like in this one her heads to big :))

  1. I can't see the actual picture on my screen for some reason, but I did see it. I don't know anything about drawing except that it's very hard to draw people! :) Good job!

Okay, clearly I'm not going to be the best drawer in the state of kansas anytime soon. Drawing this though has helped me realize how difficult drawing, shading, and coloring all can be. You need the right colors and shades to make the picture even look a little bit good. Not to mention the shading. As you can see in my examples that the shading was actually something very difficult for me to do. I think that many people usually put to much shade in drawings to were it looks dark and messy, but I'm pretty sure I under shaded this. If you look closely at my drawing you might notice that there is a brownish color. My thinking while doing that was to make the gray I had drawn for the shadow to look more realistic in color and shading. Putting shadows in your drawings is really what makes the picture more realistic and many times better than other regular drawings, it's very important. So to continue this project I will begin a drawing on my own without the aid of a step b
I chose drawing as my project because I feel as if maybe it would be something I would enjoy. What you see here is an example of basic drawing and shading technique. My goal is to try to learn how to do both things on my own, creating my own "master piece". In the figure above you will notice that the artist of this image has drawn very faint lines to begin the rose. Finishing the drawing he has a beautiful, straight, proportioned rose. All throughout this assignment I will be drawing a big variety of things, some on my own and some from the one and only Youtube.
